Mail Problems after Sample Booking

E-mail confirmations are sent either when this is configured at the domain settings, or in the device settings. However, sample bookings are only sent if the domain is configured to be sending confirmations. The device setting for mail confirmations is ignored.

Furthermore, only the user that created a sample booking receives the confirmation, but not the device contacts.


Update 18 July: A solution for this issue has been proposed by Emendis, and is now being evaluated.


Update 25 July: The solution proposed by Emendis works as expected, after the next release (exp. 30 July), the contacts of a sample device will receive an e-mail when a new sample request has been created.


Update 30 July: The fix for this issue has been released. From now on, when a device is configured to list samples, all contacts of the device will receive a notification when a booking for that device has been made. Domain admins are kindly requested to verify the contacts stored at their sampling devices, to ensure the reception of notification.
