Multiselect filter display issues on Firefox¶

Firefox users might experience trouble using the filer feature in the multiselect dropdows. This occurs e.g. when editing a device group. When one tries to search a user, the matching user should occur on top of the list, but instead a lot of whitespace is shown. Please scroll down to find the matching users.

This issue is specific for Firefox, it does not occur on Chrome or Safari. Firefox users that are affected by this error are recommended to temporarily use a different browser.

Update 27 August: This issue has been closed, the only remaining field with this filtering problem is also subject to another issue concerning the default costplace

Update 8 August: The issue has been resolved for Device Groups, but since of today, it now occurs on the edit (own) profile page. Specifically, when searching for a default costplace, the issue presents itself. Please scroll down to the bottom of the dropdown to find the queried costplaces, or use Chrome or Safari as browser. Please also see the other issue concerning the default costplace, we currently have to discourage you from using this edit field in any browser due to potential loss of data.

Update 5 August: Due to a similar bug in another issue, we have not yet received a release confirmation for this issue.

Update 30 July: Due to unforeseen circumstances at Emendis, the next release can not take place before 8 August.
