Unable to see/change own costplace

When a domain admin or superuser tries to see or edit the default costplace in his/her profile, the default costplace is not loaded, and although s/he sees that modification of the costplace was successful, nothing actually changed.

If a domain admin wished to modify his/her costplace, s/he is requested to either ask another domain admin, or contact C&CZ at bookings-support@science.ru.nl


Update 27 August: As there are multiple issues that are affecting the edit default costplace field, we had to go back to the drawing board. An update and estimate will be provided as soon as possible.


Update 9 August: The default costplace field in the user profile has been disabled again, awaiting a sustainable solution.


Update 8 August: Unfortunately, a partial fix has been deployed into production, which does enable a domain admin to change his/her default costplace - but this will lead to loss of data: if you select a costplace that figures among the 'additional costplaces', it will be removed from that list. The old default costplace however, will not be added to the list of additional costplaces. In other words, the old default costplace will be unlinked from your account, and must be added again by another admin. We strongly discourage the use of this field in the profile edit form. If you need your default costplace to be altered, please contact C&CZ at bookings-support@science.ru.nl.
